RT (formerly Russia Today) is a Russia's first 24h international news channel broadcasting in English language. RT TV channel is funded by Russian Government and designed to "reflect Russia's position on major issues of international politics" and "inform the audience about news and events in Russian life". As it was said by Chief Editor of RT television channel, Margarita Simonyan : Foreign media not always adequately reflect the events in Russia. The first thing, according to studies, comes to mind for foreigners at the word "Russia" are "communism", "snow" and "poverty." We would like to present a more diverse picture of life in our country... We will try to show Russia as a foreigner to see it when coming into the country. RT was funded by the budget of Russian Federation, which allocated $ 30 million annually from 2005 till 2009. RT features quite diverse political and news programming alongside with cultural documentaries. News is the main RT news program, which is airing every half-an-hour. Another news program, Business is covering world major economical news; the program also features brief review of the Russian business news. RT TV also has two interview programs. It is Interview with Sofiko Shevardnadze featuring exclusive interviews with famous politics and businessmen; and CrossTalk, which has more discussion-shaped format and hosted by Peter Lavelle and Elena Hanga. CBN is the Christian Broadcasting Network in the United States. CBN features diverse programming: "The 700 Club" (news and information), "CBN NewsWatch" (Christian national and international news), "Club 700 Hoy" (half-hour Spanish-language show presenting interviews, informative features, and reality stories about people, places and music).

Deutsche Welle ARABIA is the Arabian-language version of DW-TV featuring programming predominately targeted on viewers located in the Middle East and North Africa regions. Basically it's the same programs that you can find on parent TV station (Deutsche Welle), but translated into Arabian language. There are also some special programs designed for Middle East audience on Deutsche Welle ARABIA covering regional news and events of business, politic, culture, lifestyle and science background of Arabian world.

As Pakistan's first 24 hour a day English language news supplier, Dawn News supplies widespread coverage of current and important events as they are happening. A subsidiary of the Pakistan Herald Publications Limited or PHPL, the television station had the distinction of being the largest media group presenting its news in the English language 24 hours a day. Recently the channel was converted to a Urdu news channel transmitting on a shorter daily schedule. Lower numbers in viewership along with a financial crisis has caused the English news channel to pare back their cover and recently has been renamed Express 24/7. This is currently also the only English news language channel to be found in Pakistan. However, the channel is available through the internet with online streaming capability for foreign viewers and can be found on their web site. Pervez Musharraf who is the former President of Pakistan was responsible for launching Dawn News first transmission on May 25, 2007 and was first housed at Haroon House then moved to Karachi in West Wharf.
