It seems like it was a wise business decision for FX to pick up Charlie Sean, who was recently fired from Two and a Half Man and put him in to a new environment of three-camera heavy-laugh-tracked sitcom about a former baseball player, Charlie Goodson, struggling to find a balance in his new life trough the anger management therapy courses. So, Charlie Sean's comeback to TV called Anger Management is new is a new promising round of career and, in case of success, a high-ROI business move for FX "“ mostly because of low-level costs of creation of such a sitcom. The plot of Anger Management is simple, and reminds us Californication: Charlie Goodson is divorced middle-age man who tries to keep formally good relationships with his ex-wife Jennifer (Shawnee Smith who may be familiar to you as Amanda from Saw franchise) and their OSD issues suffering daughter Sam (Awake TV show starlet Daniela Bobadilla) while being in Friends-With-Benefits-like sexual relations with his therapist Kate (Selma Blair, some people may know her as Abigail from released in 2012 Columbus Circle and Mary from the same year Replicas). Despite the bold sexual background of Anger Management, this TV show is only on FX without TV-MA rating. Who would have thought that Charlie Sean's new series will be such a content-safe?

The show has the fast paced comedy touch that SNL is well noted for and cast members Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein help keep it moving along. With Lorne Michaels as executive producer and creative writing from Fred Armisen, Jonathan Krisel, and Carrie Brownstein the show appears to have a bright future. We see how popular restaurants along the famous Hawthorne District in Portland handle irate dinner guests when they leave rather nasty reviews on a website titled Yelp! Another episode finds how badly a one man performance can actually be at the Hollywood Theatre, a local historic building in northeast Portland. If it happens in or around Portland it might end up on the show in some fashion, most likely comedic in tone. Portlandia currently runs on the IFC (Independent Film Channel).

However, our heroine manages to enlist the help of one of her mentors: Dr. Micah Barnes (Michael Rady), who oversees fresh interns and to befriend with first-year surgical resident Tyra Dupre (Kelly McCreary). Besides the awkward moments showcased in almost every scene where we see Emily, there is one only thing that makes everyone uncomfortable to watch Emily Owens M.D. "“ the idea of "what this clumsy young being is doing here, in real-life hospital, as the real-life doctor, who is definitely should be responsible for the lives of patients?" From the other hand, it's just a TV show and all that mess is made by actors by screenplay, and while the last one thing is questionable, first one (the ensemble cast) looks perfect. Main protagonist, Emily Owen, is portrayed by inimitable Mamie Gummer, while her "sweetheart" Dr. Will Collins is played by Justin Hartley (a star of Smallville).
