There are plenty of "cop" shows on television currently but one truly stands out as being totally entertaining and that one is Memphis Beat. Comedy, action, and some really good acting as well as scripts that stand out from the rest make for an hour's worth of enjoyment every week. Memphis Beat stars Jason Lee (My Name is Earl, Clerks II) as Memphis PD detective Dwight Hendricks, the self proclaimed "keeper of Memphis". He has several women in his life including his mother Paula Hendricks who is played by Celia Weston (Knight and Day, Modern Family), Memphis PD lieutenant Tanya Rice (Alfre Woodard from Desperate Housewives, Star Trek: First Contact), and an ex-wife Alex (played by Sunny Mabrey from Mad Men, Rules of Engagement) who shows up now and then. He has his hands full with each of these three women but his job seems to be a relief from personal life. Memphis Beat shows the southern charm and easy way of life of the south and even brings in some Elvis Presley music along the way. George Clooney is executive producer.

"Castle" is the crime drama series premiered in the U.S. March 9, 2009 on ABC channel. "Castle" TV show follows the process of murder investigation conducted by Detective Kate Beckett (Stana Katic). Unexpectedly she notes the similarity of the crime scene with the same one described by the famous detective writer Richard Castle (Nathan Fillion). Castle becomes a suspect, but upon the investigation completion he proved to be innocent. Using his friendships with some powerful people in the city, he gets the opportunity to attend all investigations conducted by Detective Beckett until he gets enough material for his next book. Detective Kate Beckett (Stana Katic) got the reputation of detective who prefers an unusual cases. She joined the police after her mother was murdered, whose case was never solved. She spent a semester studying in Kiev, where she learned the Russian language. Their sometimes uneasy relationships with the Castle are often ridiculed by other TV show's character: Javier Esposito (Jon Huertas), the Detective and the another member of Beckett's team. He and detective Kevin Ryan (Seamus Dever) constantly mock Beckett, but in fact they are protecting her and treat Beckett as a very crucial part of the team . Next TV show's character is Lani Parish (Tamala Jones), medical examiner, a friend of Beckett, with whom she can talk heart to heart; advises Beckett to develop her relationship with the Castle. "Castle" TV show also features Roy Montgomery (Ruben Santiago-Hudson), Beckett's Boss. He likes Beckett's manner of investigation and her attention to details, but he always keeps his eye close on Beckett activity. He amuses with Beckett and Castle relationship, but he understands that they work well together. Another character is Alexis Rogers (Molly Quinn), teenage daughter of Castle, which much easier communicates with adults than with her peers and often behaves more conscious than her father and March Rogers (Susan Sullivan), Castle's mother, and the former Broadway actress, who dying to find a wealthy unmarried man.

The League is about six participants in Fantasy Football who are actually players in a Fantasy Football league along side the creators of this TV show. So evidently they know what they are talking about when it comes to football, right? Well maybe even their wives know more and sometimes run the show. All the six characters have their own motivation to participate in such fanciful games. Set in the windy city, Chicago, we find Pete Eckhart who has won the league championship three times. Pete is now separated and learning how to meet women all over again. His job involves working in a cubicle but he spends more time plotting his fantasy football moves. Kevin MacArthur is deep into fantasy football and also a district attorney. His position allows him to make some great draft trades and his wife just may run his teams more than he. Attorney Rodney Ruxin plays the game but is extremely paranoid about what others think of him. Another player, Andre Nowzik is a plastic surgeon who tries to be "cool" but doesn't have a clue. He does love the fantasy football games! Taco MacArthur and wife Jenny also play the virtual games. Jenny is Kevin's wife and just may be the best at trading and betting. Watch for some special guest stars on each season. Terry Bradshaw and Chad Ochocinco have shown up in past seasons.

The newest "boy band" to hit the pop music scene is called Big Time Rush and the boys are ready for their chance at fame and fortune. Starring Kendall Schmidt as Kendall Knight, Carlos Pena, Jr. as Carlos Garcia, James Maslow as James Diamond, and Logan Henderson plays Logan Mitchell allows the actors to keep their own first names and a grip on reality. They must move away from the laid back lifestyle they've grown up with in Minnesota and go to the big city, LA. The four boys head to the Palmdale Hotel in Los Angeles, California and enroll in a special actors and performer's only school, the Palmwoods. Boys will be boys and their antics certainly get the attention of their elders including their producer, a hard driving and outrageous man by the name of Gustavo Rocque (played by Stephen Kramer Glickman). A TV series about brotherhood and friendship, Big Time Rush or BTR has a strong following and some great music. Once the season's filming is complete the band goes on a tour to "strut their stuff" before live audiences.

"The Other Two" is an American comedy series that premiered on Comedy Central in 2019. It follows the lives of two siblings, Brooke and Cary, whose younger brother becomes an overnight sensation thanks to a viral music video. The series depicts the siblings' attempts to navigate their own lives while also dealing with the newfound fame of their brother, Chase.

This Fool" is an American comedy television series created by Chris Estrada, Pat Bishop, Matt Ingebretson, and Jake Weisman. The show stars Estrada and Frankie Quiñones. It premiered on Hulu on August 12, 2022 and was renewed for a second season in November 2022. The series follows Julio Lopez, a 30-year-old man who still lives with his mother and grandmother in his childhood bedroom and works at a gang rehabilitation center in Los Angeles called Hugs Not Thugs. His older cousin Luis, a former gang member, is in the rehabilitation program after being released from prison. The series was created by Estrada with producers Bishop, Ingebretson, and Weisman, and Fred Armisen is an executive producer. All 10 episodes of the first season were released on Hulu on August 12, 2022.
