Lethal Weapon is a TV series based on the popular movie franchise of the same name. It follows two detectives, Roger Murtaugh and Martin Riggs, who are partnered together to fight crime in Los Angeles. Murtaugh is a seasoned detective who is just a few years from retirement, while Riggs is a former Navy SEAL with a troubled past. Despite their differences, the two work together to solve crimes and develop a close bond.
The series premiered in 2016 and ran for three seasons before it was cancelled in 2019. It was praised for its action sequences and the chemistry between its two lead actors, Damon Wayans and Clayne Crawford. However, the show was also controversial due to Crawford's alleged on-set behavior, which led to his firing and the subsequent departure of Wayans.
Despite the controversy, Lethal Weapon remains a popular and well-regarded action series that appeals to fans of the original movie franchise as well as newcomers to the story. Its legacy is also evident in the fact that it has inspired other TV series adaptations of popular movie franchises, such as Rush Hour and Training Day.

Undoubtfully, cinematography has been my passion since a very young age. Even now, watching a new movie or series always prompts me to ask a lot of questions to the author. Thus, every little essay about a title is definitely not a spoiler, but rather an attempt to explore the idea.
