In the first six episodes, Duncan himself delivered the preamble. MacLeod and his girlfriend, Tessa Noel, cleverly and comfortably have adapted to modern life, and they hide effortlesly in plain sight, operating an upscale antique store. From the very first iteration of the preamble, viewers understand MacLeod is by no means the only Immortal roaming the streets and subways, and not all of them are nearly so noble as MacLeod. Although he had hung-up his mace, MacLeod now has chosen to rejoin "The Game" for the sake of defending everything he cherishes as good and right. For many contemporary viewers, MacLeod represents the ever-living proof of the old adage, "Old guys rule."

So, you have ever intent to pass them to official for some cruel test, please, don't do it! Although, the TV show has gained mostly negative receptions from critics, it worth watching for many reasons. First of all it was created by legendary Dan Fogelman, and all the critics negative reviews are just a result of high expectations for these series. The second reason is the ensemble cast: the star of Entourage, Modern Family, Still Standing and ER - Jami Gertz looks natural in the extraterrestrial surrounding of Ningning Deng, Tracy Weisert and Mobin Khan.

Cameron Hicks (Warren Christie from Ties That Bind Us, Malibu Shark Attack) has the power of hyperkinesis which means his brain moves quickly, processing movements so he uses his eyesight to predict trajectory. Malik Yoba (Defying Gravity, That's So Raven) is Bill Harken, FBI agent with superhuman powers. Rachel Pirzad, formerly with the CIA as a linguist, finds she has abilities to heighten each of her five senses to detect things even by their chemical compound. Rachel is played by Azita Ghanizada (Castle, Friends With Benefits). Laura Mennell (Flight 93, Watchmen) plays Nina Theroux, young woman with the ability to mentally "push" or encourage people around her into doing whatever she wishes.

Early Clark Kent is seen as an average in school, very handsome boy who has friends and plays pranks just like every other boy in Kansas. Tom Welling (Cheaper By The Dozen, The Fog) plays Clark Kent at a period in his life where he is just realizing his magical gifts and super powers. Based on the comic book character, Clark is eager to show his adopted parents how useful he can be in a wide variety of ways and this brings about many humorous situations on the show. This TV version of the ever popular comic book series has been extremely successful and highly entertaining.
