When the powers that be at NBC yanked the Tonight Show out from under long time host Jay Leno on May 29, 2009 it was considered to be a huge mistake and that fact soon became evident to everyone involved, particularly his loyal viewing audience. Conan O'Brien is talented and deserves his own show but there is no one quite like Leno except for perhaps Johnny Carson. Carson made the Tonight Show a national institution of late night television. Carson also wanted David Letterman to succeed him as host, even though he had called on Leno to guest host multiple times over the years. But when it came time to pass the gauntlet it went to stand up comedian Jay Leno. The Tonight Show with Jay Leno was reincarnated on March 1, 2010 and as they say, the rest is history. With a home base in Burbank, California the Tonight Show has access to virtually all of the showbiz elite as well as entertainment's movers and shakers so viewers can be assured of seeing their favorite stars and keeping up with most all the latest gossip and newsworthy events as they happen. Leno himself, through his opening dialogue will refresh our memory and keep us informed regarding what was said by or about the likes of Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, or even Donald Trump. And who could ask for more?

It seems like it was a wise business decision for FX to pick up Charlie Sean, who was recently fired from Two and a Half Man and put him in to a new environment of three-camera heavy-laugh-tracked sitcom about a former baseball player, Charlie Goodson, struggling to find a balance in his new life trough the anger management therapy courses. So, Charlie Sean's comeback to TV called Anger Management is new is a new promising round of career and, in case of success, a high-ROI business move for FX "“ mostly because of low-level costs of creation of such a sitcom. The plot of Anger Management is simple, and reminds us Californication: Charlie Goodson is divorced middle-age man who tries to keep formally good relationships with his ex-wife Jennifer (Shawnee Smith who may be familiar to you as Amanda from Saw franchise) and their OSD issues suffering daughter Sam (Awake TV show starlet Daniela Bobadilla) while being in Friends-With-Benefits-like sexual relations with his therapist Kate (Selma Blair, some people may know her as Abigail from released in 2012 Columbus Circle and Mary from the same year Replicas). Despite the bold sexual background of Anger Management, this TV show is only on FX without TV-MA rating. Who would have thought that Charlie Sean's new series will be such a content-safe?

Shot in the fashionable "mockumentary" style, allegedly compiled by a foreign exchange student from Sweden, "Modern Family" shows three branches of the Pritchett family tree: Pater familia Jay Pritchett has married Gloria, a much younger, beautiful, passionate and outspoken Columbian, who brings her somewhat unconventional son, Manny, into the family with her. Jay's daughter Claire has married real estate broker Phil Dunphy, and they have three children--Haley, a boy-crazy, attitude-rich high school diva; Alex"”short for Alexis"”a gifted, insightful, but somewhat awkward tween cello player; and Luke, who is cluelessly stumbling through life and elementary school. Jay's son Mitchell, an attorney, and Cameron, his gay partner, have adopted a VietNamese daughter, Lily; and they are adjusting to partnership and parenthood all at once. Together, the family struggles through the predictable crises of everyday life. Spectacular writing distinguishes the show, and its perfectly chosen ensemble cast looks and feels like families who live just up the street. In 2010, at the middle of its first record-breaking season, "Modern Family" collected six Emmy Awards, including the much-coveted award for Outstanding Comedy Series. "Modern Family" also collected a Writer's Guild Award, a Peabody Award, a Directors' Guild Award, and a Television Critics Award.

As in "The Office," the basic premise for "Weeds" is an import from Great Britain, adapted from the British film Saving Grace which showed a widow and her gardener conspiring to maintain the widow's lifestyle by supplying the locals with their favorite herbal refreshment. Critics frequently compare "Weeds" with American Beauty for its exploitation of the idea "Normal is the face we wear to cover how f***ed-up we are." By contrast with "Desperate Housewives," Nancy Botwin, our entrepreneurial heroine, has far more good reason for desperation than her difficulty achieving orgasm; she has a house, a mortgage, two sons, and a reputation. Since Bonfire of the Vanities tanked and "Weeds" flourished, Tom Wolfe may have to consider the distinct possibility that there is no life in Manhattan.

Virginia Madsen is Cheryl West, a loyal wife and mother who happens to be married to a career criminal called Wolf West (actor David James Elliott). This puts a crimp in their social life and their four kids futures may even be in jeopardy if they can't spring dad from prison soon. A New Zealand television series titled Outrageous Fortune is the origin for this fun and fast moving American TV comedy drama. Cheryl West has four children, a set of twins named Cal and Logan plus two younger daughters Heather and Hope. They have each participated in some "shady behavior" until Wolf land in prison for a five year sentence. Mom, Cheryl, decides they must all become honest citizens in spite of good old dad's interference from inside jail. What will that do to their image? Virginia Madsen (as Cheryl West) has been in Sideways & The Astronaut Farmer is sister to actor Michael Madsen. David James Elliott starred in Jag for 10 years before joining CSI: NY in 2010 and in between he played Wolfgang "Wolf" West. The children were played by Patrick Flueger (playing both twin boys), Leven Rambin as Heather West, and Vanessa Marano as Hope West.

Premiered on September 25, 2012, Ben and Kate is adorable FOX-produced situation comedy, has immediately got lots of positive critic reviews. There are lots of reasons for this, and one of them is a brilliant ensemble cast. Not in the sense of presence of some top-paid actors in the series, but in the sense of amazing chemistry between the leading roles actress and actor: Dakota Johnson and Nat Faxon. They play adult brother and sister, how has grown up in totally different characters with lots of opposite traits. Kate (played by Dakota Johnson) is a lone mother, who is raising a daughter, trying to make ends meet by working hard as bar manager, while Ben (Nat Faxon) on his turn has had no special purpose in his life and just remained a child. The show begins when Ben decides that her sister lives a very uneasy life and decides to help her by moving in to her flat. All the Ben and Kate plot is build upon a laughable situations that arise in numerous quantity around their almost-as family life. Ben is trying hard, giving her sister lots of advices on how to establish strong relationship with men from a very first date, while Kate endeavors to familiarize his brother with a real adult life.
