Avatar: Seven Havens

Avatar: Seven Havens is a 2026 animated series from Nickelodeon Animation Studio and Avatar Studios, created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, the original architects of Avatar: The Last Airbender. The first all-new Avatar series produced under the dedicated Avatar Studios banner, it returns to the beloved world of elemental bending roughly 225 years after the events of The Legend of Korra.

The story follows Pavi, a young earthbender who discovers she is the next Avatar in a world violently remade by an apocalyptic event, where survivors cluster in the last bastions of civilization known as the Seven Havens. Hunted by both human and spirit enemies and feared by many as a harbinger of destruction rather than a savior, Pavi sets out with her long-lost twin sister Nisha to uncover the truth about their origins. Saheli Khan voices Pavi and Aishu Devan voices Nisha, with Dee Bradley Baker among the voice cast.

Premiering on October 9, 2026, the series rolls out three episodes per week on Paramount+ and was greenlit for a second season of thirteen episodes before it even debuted, a sign of the franchise's enduring pull. Moved up from an originally planned Nickelodeon window, it reframes the Avatar mythology for a darker, post-apocalyptic era while keeping the emotional storytelling fans have followed for two decades. It is streaming on Paramount+.
