The Pick-up Artist is a 1987 romantic comedy film directed by James Toback. The film follows a smooth-talking playboy named Jack who is always on the lookout for his next conquest. When he meets an intelligent and independent woman named Randy, he becomes determined to win her over despite her initial disinterest.

Creator of Family Guy, The Cleveland Show, and American Dad! Seth MacFarlane keeps busy as producer, director, and writer of Ted a new American comedy starring himself as title character Ted, as well as Mark Wahlberg (Entourage, Boardwalk Empire) as John, Mila Kunis (The Book of Eli, Black Swan) is Lori, Giovanni Ribisi from Gone in 60 Seconds, Saving Private Ryan is Donny. Scream Queen Jessica Leigh Stroup (October Road, Prom Night) is a co-worker of Lori's. ohn has a teddy bear named Ted that magically comes to life as he always imagined it could. Romance finds John when he meets Lori, and the lifelong friendship between Ted and John turns into a disaster because the teddy bear refuses to "grow up". Although this film sounds cutsie it's not for kids due to language, drug use, and plenty of crude sexual comments and content. Enjoy it for what it is…. a cartoon come to life and just played for fun.

An amusingly ridiculous black comedy "Seven Psychopaths" is a McDonagh's next masterpiece created in a black comedy genre. It tells the story about an author, Marty who is out of inspiration to finish his novel "Seven Psychopaths". Marty is played by an Irish actor, Collin Farrell who may be known to you by his roles in Minority Report (2002), In Bruges (2008) and Total Recall (2012). His friend Billy tries his best to help Marty to finish writing the book "inspiring" him by getting into the troubles, constantly. Billy is portrayed by Sam Rockwell, who is known to you as Sam Bell from Moon (2009) and Kenneth Waters from Conviction (both are serious roles in the serious films with lots of awards and nominations). Billy is a pure criminal with sadistic attitudes, but he is lovely one. Besides his kind heart, he has a crime-partner Hans. This next psychopath is played by Christopher Walken. This great American actor needs no introduction – you know his awesome roles in Kill the Irishman (2012), Hairspray (2007) and Man of the Year (2006). The next psychopath is Charlie (portrayed by Woodrow Tracy "Woody" Harrelson: No Country for Old Men, The Messenger, Defendor, Zombieland). His beloved dog, a rare Shih Tzu was kidnapped by Billy and Hans, and all the movie's action unfolds in this pivotal point. There we meet Angela, played by the "Bond Girl" Olga Kurylenko, Kaya (Abbie Cornish) and Zachariah (Tom Waits) – the last two of the "Seven Psychopaths".

This sequel takes place eight years after the original, Johnny English. We find that the hero of the first go around has been in hiding somewhere in Tibet, living in a cave. It seems he went on a mission to Mozambique and things went terrible wrong, resulting in him being shamed as a failure. Now low in the morale department, Johnny is called on for another dangerous mission, one which causes him to save a Chinese Premier from assassins in hopes of keeping China on the side of good even as some Southeast Asian rogues begin developing nuclear weapons.ohnny English once again stars Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean's Vacation, Love Actually) in the lead role and he is joined by Gillian Anderson (The X-Files, The Last King of Scotland) as Pamela Head, M17 Agent, Dominic West (Jackboots on Whitehall, From Time to Time) as Simon Ambrose, and Richard Schiff (The West Wing, Criminal Minds: Suspicious Behavior). A British comedy action film, Johnny English Reborn pokes fun at the James Bond character and makes for a fun and entertaining film for all ages.

"Swiss Army Man" is a movie that was released in 2016. The movie tells the story of Hank, a man stranded on a deserted island, who finds a seemingly lifeless body washed up on the shore. Hank soon discovers that the body, which he names Manny, has some unusual abilities, such as the ability to fart with great force and accuracy, and the ability to produce fresh water when fed with various liquids. Hank uses Manny's abilities to try and find his way back to civilization.

There is a Frank Oz film "Death at a Funeral" of 2007 which stills is one of the best comedies ever. And there is the Nile LaBute's remake "Death at a Funeral" of 2010 which as it turned out was not confounded the original, and at one point even outrides it. Screenwriter of both projects is the same Craig Dean, so you should not expect the different approach to story. Hence, a logical question: Why? Why was it necessary to do all the same, just change the white English actors on the better-known for global audience the black American stars, without even changing one of the key roles Peter Dinklage as a short blackmailer here and there?
