The Last Legion is a much predicable movie: it fills a storyline gap between the Roman Empire and the legend of King Arthur, logically linking them, showing the continuity and integrity of both history and story. Especially by a remarkable way of the sword Excalibur, forged from iron ore from a meteorite fallen on Earth. So this movie should appear sooner or later, due the lack of original stories every unoccupied niche certainly is filled. Thus, the source is good. What do we have as a result? The film is not historical, but "based on" - however, it does not a bug, but only a feature, since not all because movies of the past must be strictly historical. Although significant fact: "Pirates of the Caribbean" can be easily forgiven of the almost complete lack of connection with history, but for "The Last Legion" it is the main disadvantage from the critics point of view… kind of weird logic.

In the course of their adventures, the girls engage everything from samurais to serpents in fantastic warfare, drawing from a robust virtual arsenal. The five sisters-in-arms face difficult choices about how much feel willing to sacrifice in order to stay alive. Wiseman, however, gives sage guidance, always suggesting that if the girls survive, their journey will set them free. Co-director Deborah Snyder brings the flight of fantasy back down to earth, saying, "In the end, it's about this girl's survival and what she needs to do to be able to cope."

The sixth part of the adventures of Harry Potter was filmed by David Yates, who filmed the Order of the Phoenix, too. The Starfleet is under a violent attack and the real purpose of the attackers' interests is unknown. Star Trek into Darkness is shot as a 2D movie, and then converted to 3D format. The film also features 9 minutes of the high-end action scenes that were shot by IMAX cameras. As for ensemble cast – in 2013's Star Trek into Darkness we enjoy the play of all the actors of previous Star Trek, excluding the villain roles, of course. The leading antagonistic role of Khan, was taken by Benedict Cumberbatch who may be known to you by his roles in The Hobbit saga of 2012-2014 as Necromancer and, what is more remarkably as Sherlock Holmes in the extremely popular British television series of the same name. As for Enterprise crew we see familiar faces: Chris Pine (Rise of the Guardians, People Like Us, This Means War) as James T. Kirk, Zachary Quinto (The Invitation, What's Your Number?, Margin Call) as Spock and Zoe Saldana (Avater, Out of the Furnace, Nina) as Nyota Uhura.

The movie is supposed to show a softer side of this "bad guy", and even thought there is limited dialog from him he presents himself as a shiny knight wanting only to do good. Drive also stars Carey Mulligan as Irene, Albert Brooks as Bernie Rose, and Ron Perlman as Nino.

Director Ridley Scott takes on the epic task of retelling one of the most beloved stories in the Old Testament. Exodus: Gods and Kings, follows Moses (Christian Bale) as he rises to stand against the Pharaoh Ramesses II (Joel Edgerton). Other stars include Sigourney Weaver, Ben Kingsley, Aaron Paul, and John Tuturro. Moses frees the slaves and parts the Red Sea so that they can cross. The plot will be familiar to anyone who has seen Cecil B. DeMille's classic film The Ten Commandments. Exodus: Gods and Kings received mixed reviews from critics, but was lauded for its visual spectacle and epic tone and sweep. The actors in the film were also praised for their stirring emotional performances. For those who enjoy Bibles stories transported to the big screen, Exodus: Gods and Kings is an entertaining and epic retelling of a classic tale.
