Plot elements are flawlessly too, and you can watch Planet 51 with interest and you will not be able to predict the denouement even in a few minutes before finale. And there is quite successful and modern idea of making a cartoon in which using the aliens you can gently poke fun the petit bourgeois way of life. Cartoon has all chances to stand of the shelf next to all the best samples of the genre.
