Previously known as Tyler Perry Presents Peeples, this movie represents best practice of the genre. The product of Tyler Perry's genius combined with fresh look of debuting director Tina Gordon Chism worth two hours of your attention for sure. It's not exactly Medea's-like comedy with Tyler Perry dressed as big and monstrous Afro-American woman, Peeples (2013) is more like Our Family Wedding filmed a year ago in 2012. It's funny, spontaneous, lively yet ironic. The action of Peeples revolves around the events at the reunion. A wealthy big family gathers in small town to enjoy each other company. The situation is heating up when Wade Walker, a young infamous "looser", decides to ask a hand of Peeples' lovely daughter Grace' at the pivotal point this rejoicing . This out of the blue surprise causes the effect of chain reaction, which ignites an extraordinary comic turmoil in Hamptons. Nevertheless, Wade Walker has to learn that there are different kinds of Peeples and even the "worst" of them could not be a serious obstacle for true love. Although, Peeples is a directorial debut of Tina Gordon Chism, who was previously known mostly as writer (ATL, Drumline), she managed to gather some brilliant cast: Kerry Washington (Olivia Pope from Scandal, Broomhilda von Schaft from Django Unchained) plays as Grace Peeples, while Craig Robinson (Hot Tub Time Machine, Eastbound & Down) plays as Wade Walker.

That's happening for Noah on this night as he's invited to a party with the intention of having sex with his dream girl, Stephanie (Dreama Walker from Gossip Girl, The Good Wife). Then he scares the kids off when a couple of psychopathic druggies take him on a wild chase all around the town. ids are capably played by the studious and serious Slater (played by Max Records of Where The Wild Things Are), Kevin Hernandez plays Rodrigo a foreign exchange student living with the Pedulla's, and the wild child of the family Blithe (Landry Bender). It's a rather dark comedy due to not too bright actions of the sitter (obtaining drugs so his girlfriend can get high).

Clifford befriends a reclusive student named Linderman who is rumored to be a psychopath. Just how many searching and testing dates does it actually take before the average person finds their own true love? How many relationships does it take to find "Mr. or Miss Right? Evidently the answer is something like twenty, at least for the character in this funny film. Anna Faris (Scary Movie series, Lost in Translation) plays Ally Darling, who checks back on her past dating record of twenty men to see if she missed that special one. And with the help of her next door neighbor Colin Shea (played by Chris Evans from Fantastic Four, Rise of the Silver Surfer) asks the question What's Your Number? That number determines how many dates it may take before finding the special one. Backtracking on dating history may not be the best way to find that person but she's determined to see if she's missed him somewhere along the way. And along the way we find this hilarious movie to be entertaining. Choosing a number of around twenty may be way more than the average person has in their date book history but it can get interesting finding out what those who she left behind are up to these days.
