Superbad

Superbad is Greg Mottola’s 2007 coming-of-age comedy about best friends Seth and Evan, played by Jonah Hill and Michael Cera, as they try to make the most of one final night before leaving high school. Their plan to obtain alcohol for a party grows increasingly chaotic after their friend Fogell, played by Christopher Mintz-Plasse, produces a fake ID bearing the single name “McLovin.” Written by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg and produced by Judd Apatow and Shauna Robertson, the Columbia Pictures film balances outrageous situations with a story about friendship, insecurity and the anxiety of growing apart. Seth Rogen and Bill Hader also appear as police officers who become part of Fogell’s misadventure.
