Scott Pilgrim vs. the World is a 2010 movie directed by Edgar Wright, who showcases not only a picture of the heroes in action, but also the sounds with which these actions are carried out, all the "bang" and "boom", and countless "ah-ah-ah!". Needles to say, that he manages to put everything together in the true style of real Englishman. He divides the frame into two, three, four, and so on often as much parts as he wants. He stuffs each episode with jokes and paints it all the colors, playfully borrowed this trick from "Speed Racer" the Wachowski brothers. It seems that Wright has decided to participate in this game seriously. Therefore, the scoring or the level of vital force, occurring on the screen for each victory, looks completely natural, and the "Scott Pilgrim" is perfectly-designed pattern. There, explorers suddenly face the challenge to become survivors. Adapted from the real-life adventure of the screenplay's co-writer, Andrew Wight, Sanctum movie pays homage to the ocean's sublimity before it tears the mask off its monumental power. Richard Roxburgh, suitably daring and dashing, plays expedition leader Frank McGuire, who skillfully leads the team through months of exploration until a tropical storm cuts-off their exit, forcing them deeper into the caves in search of an escape. Struggling against raging water, short supplies, and inchoate terror, McGuire, his son Josh, and prominent financier Carl Hurley must make their way through a magnificent and menacing maze hoping against hope they will survive. Cameron had to work his magic on a relatively modest $30million budget, but director Alister Grierson and cinematographer Jules O'Loughlin bring out the best in the fine ensemble cast and make the most of Mother Nature's dramatic setting.

"Pearl Harbor" is a war drama movie released in 2001, directed by Michael Bay. The movie is based on the real-life events of the attack on Pearl Harbor during World War II. The story follows two childhood friends, Rafe McCawley and Danny Walker, who both fall in love with the same nurse, Evelyn Johnson. As they prepare to fight in the war, their friendship and love for Evelyn are tested.

The new comic book adaptation titled "Jonah Hex" has a chance to become a new subspecies of a Hollywood blockbuster movie. Which, unlike similar to it, "Van Helsing" and "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen", boasts at least that there is no monstrous budget spent only on the CGI and still do not understand that. All are attached to ordinary story about an unusual hero against the forces of evil money not spent in vain - despite the feeble mind of local writers, the picture and dynamics in this are pretty good. But the lack of a coherent plot and its quality does not allow "Jonah Hex" to become something more than fantasy gunman at a time. "Professional and extremely steep mercenary in the best tradition of Western fighters dealt with the bad guys, that everything else resorted to the resurrection of the dead. Well, just as some representatives of the genre on occult themes. Unlike "John Hex" is that the hero was a little maimed and disfigured on one side of the face attached to the character of Josh Brolin sort of grim fascination. Fortunately, the creators focused on the rigidity of action scenes and even the history of the protagonist, which is interesting main story. In addition, there is John Malkovich and even Megan Fox, which, apparently, after her disagreement with Michael Bay, is now doomed to get stuck in the semi-thrash movies for a long time. Generally "Jonah Hex" is worth watching, but only because of pretty pictures and good overall performances.
