Pieces of April is a 2003 independent film directed by Peter Hedges. The film tells the story of April Burns, a young woman who is estranged from her family, and her attempts to reconnect with them on Thanksgiving Day. April lives in a run-down apartment in New York City with her boyfriend, Bobby, and is determined to make a traditional Thanksgiving dinner for her family, who are traveling from the suburbs to visit her.

The Informant movie, directed by Oscar-winning Steven Soderbergh is based on events that took place in the U.S. in the early 90's. Mark Whitaker, played by Matt Damon, is a prominent manager of agro-industrial corporation Archer Daniels Midland (ADM), who became clandestine informant engaged in biotechnology issues. "And all because Whitaker discovers that the leadership of a transnational company artificially boosted too high a price for the products and decides to tell all about the FBI. In order to expose the dishonest managers, the FBI need proof, which is why Whitaker gladly agrees to wear the special eavesdropping equipment. On the whole 4 years he becomes a "stool pigeon" for federal office. It would seem that the evidence collected and can bring a charge, but it turns out that Mark, always considered himself a virtue, exemplary American citizen, did not hesitate to take cash himself during the corrupt deals ADM. Naturally, charges against the corporation collapses like a house of cards and the system chooses now to Mark himself. Slicker Whitaker, who led the FVI agents to grand finale, ultimately deceived himself. Entangled in a lie, he tries to make himself a hero till the very end.

"Mr. Nanny" is a 1993 family comedy film directed by Michael Gottlieb. It stars Hulk Hogan as a former wrestler who becomes a bodyguard for two mischievous children. The kids are the target of a group of criminals who want their father's latest invention, and Hogan's character must protect them from harm.

The Hangover numbers among those very few movies that can lay legitimate claim to the title "instant classic." As contrived, convoluted, twisted, silly, and slapstick as something woven from the three stooges meeting the Marx brothers, "The Hangover" nevertheless maintained its sincerity and inspired audiences' sympathy for the poor slobs they were watching screw-up at every available opportunity. We call that "comic genius.""Can The Hangover Part II possibly reprise the genius and do justice to the original? As the movie went into post-production, Hangover star Bradley Cooper shared his worries, telling The Los Angeles Times, "I'd be lying if I said I wasn't trepidatious." The el dos, the original characters travel to Bangkok, which Cooper characterized as "Las Vegas on steroids." Stu once again is scheduled for nuptials, and he has pre-empted a bachelor party rerun by scheduling a proper, safe, conservative pre-wedding brunch. Of course, the words "yeah, right" come to mind. The studio says, "What happens in Vegas may stay in Vegas, but what happens in Bangkok can't even be imagined.""Cooper assuages his own and the audience's trepidations, claiming, ": "The script was better than the first one. The scope is larger. [Shooting it] went smoother than it did the first time in terms of letting spontaneous moments happen." Devoted fans have their fingers tightly crossed.

Brigsby Bear is a 2017 comedy-drama film directed by Dave McCary. The film follows a young man named James who was kidnapped as a baby and raised in isolation by a couple who told him the outside world was toxic. James becomes obsessed with a children's television show called Brigsby Bear Adventures, which was created by his "father" as a way to entertain him.

For the legions of loyal Easter Bunny fans who have been long convinced the dentists' best springtime friend has not enjoyed nearly enough big-screen face-time, a tragic victim of the movie industry's pro-Santa preference, Hop brings a welcome measure of relief…maybe. Hugh Laurie does the voice of Easter Bunny, Sr., in this CG/real-life mash-up; Russell Brand lends his vocal talents to "E.B.," the Big Rabbit's prodigal son, who has run-off to Hollywood in hot pursuit of his career as a drummer, and clearly in the game for more than hard-boiled eggs. "In fact, Hop enjoys one distinct advantage over the truckload of CG/real-life hybrids currently headed your way: it has a decent plot and a well-crafted script. E.B. was supposed to take-over the family business when he split; and when Hollywood turns-out less than rewarding, he fakes injury from a car accident, imposing his own slacking self on another L.A. slacker, whom E.B. entrusts with the business of saving Easter. James Marsden plays Fred, unrepentant slacker and reluctant host. Kaley Cuoco, Elizabeth Perkins, and Chelsea Handler add depth, style, and spice to Hop.
