"A Storybook Ending" is a short film produced by HBO. The story follows a young Black man who accidentally kills an undercover police officer and sets off a chain of events involving deceit, blackmail, and murder. The film explores themes such as race, justice, and the consequences of one's actions.

Released in 2012, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days covers the events depicted in third and fourth books of Jeff Kinney: The Last Straw and Dog Days. The last one "realistic fiction" novel got more attention from Wallace Wolodarsky who wrote a screenplay for the movie, and this fact is noticeably reflected in the film's plot. The storyline begins with Greg Heffley and Rowley Jefferson are going to the country club for their summer vacations where due to the unfortunate sequence of developments both of them got into the troubles. Bleak outlook of spending the summer in vain efforts to make some money is rising at the horizon with more and more of clarity. That makes the movie very similar to previous two: Diary of a Wimpy Kid (2010) and Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules (2011) – the hopeless children are showcased as losers trying to do their best. Nevertheless, the play of the cast is outstanding as usual and while watching this sequel you distinctively understand why these seven actor and actress (Zachary Gordon, Karan Brar, Robert Capron, Laine MacNeil, Connor & Owen Fielding and Dalila Bela were nominated the Young Artist Award and some of them ( we mean Laine MacNeil) even won it. By the way, Zachary Gordon's career is moving quite fast, which is led him to the lead role in the 2012 movie Norm of the North, where he plays main protagonist, Norm.

Imagine what would happen to planet in 100 years. Rubbish is everywhere, there no more place to utilize it. The air is polluted with exhaust gases, global warming makes itself felt, the glaciers are melting, and water is polluted with the all kinds of junk. Who will solve all these problems? Where are the smart people? It is difficult to raise children for the intelligent people. They want to give the child everything in order he had grown clever and educated man. Therefore, there are one or two children in these families. Or no children because of the reproductive function issues. But not too smart parents just do not think about it. They copulate on instinct, and thus inhabiting the planet. On that background Idiocracy rises an radically new idea."

A Serious Man is probably the best Coen brothers' movie. It is a hilarious parable disguised as anti-Jewish satire. The being Jewish, for authors, is not so much the subject as an occasion for much more interesting and witty conversation. The object of their ridicule is certainly neither the American Tzadik not the Jewish community as a whole, and certainly not God-seeking, but in itself painful mistrust inherent Semites. In general, it seems that anyone with the words "Bar Mitzvah" and "Dibbuk" aches nostalgic parts of the brain, "A Serious Man" will become perhaps the most hilarious film of the year, and this is the important detail in the case with Cohen's. In essence, "A Serious Man," this is "The Simpsons Movie" translated into the universal language of cinema as an everyday way of perceiving the infinite series of pleasant wonders.

I Love You, Phillip Morris movie takes a cop out of the closet and directly to jail—a love story…Jim Carey plays Steven Russell, happily married and safely closeted local law enforcement officer devoted to clean Christian living and keeping up appearances in the neighborhood. As "I Love You, Phillip Morris" opens, officer Russell culminates his spare-time search for the mother who gave him up at birth; mom kept his older and younger siblings. Mom wants nothing to do with him, and adding injury to the insult, Russell suffers a terrible car crash. The one-two punches inspire him to abandon his former life, and Russell embraces the gay lifestyle with zest and gusto. Discovering gay extravagance comes with big price tags, Russell discovers his proficiency as a con man…until he ends up in jail, where he meets Phillip Morris. Ewan McGregor brilliantly plays Phillip Morris, the love of Russell's life. And, then, the drama begins. Dealing unabashedly with homosexuality, "I Love You, Phillip Morris" might have inspired boycotts, protests, and a great deal of unpleasantness. Thanks to Carey's and McGregor's sensitive, poignant portrayal of the characters and the script's ample good humor, "I Love You, Phillip Morris" is just a really good movie about a couple of men in love.

Years ago, Becky was mocked by her friends in high-school as Piggy Face. Now she is a bride and her bitchy friends are invited at the wedding party as bridesmaids. Why she invites them are left behind the scenes but you should see her best (but still unmarried) friend's face when she meets Becky's groom, a handsome and lovely big guy, Dale. By the way Dale is portrayed by Hayes MacArthur who played "Big Handsome Guy" in The Adventures of Big Handsome Guy and His Little Friend (2005). Becky's best friend (and most bitchy one) Regan is played by Kirsten Dunst. Regan is used to be the best in everything, her perfectionism always balances on the edge of boredom and amusingness. The rest of Becky's friends are pretty much dysfunctional too: Gena, a drug addicted girl with head in the clouds, played by Lizzy Caplan; Katie (Isla Fisher) who drinks too much of Cosmo cocktails and sniffs lots of cocaine which make her go out of the rails and throws to embraces of her former classmate Joe (Kyle Bornheimer) who used to sell her a weed in high-school. As the action unfolds the wedding party spirals out of control immersing all the key characters in the night of chaos and debauchery.
