Somewhere is a movie that chronicles the life of actor Johnny Marco (Stephen Dorff), who was well known for his long stay in Hollywood's famous Chateau Marmont hotel and the endless stream of sexy women and drugs that stayed there with him. As he coasts through life while driving his Ferrari and partying hard he receives an unexpected surprise. His 11 year old daughter Chloe ends up at his hotel room door to get to know her dad. After spending some time with Chloe, Johnny is motivated to change the path his life is taking and clean up his act. Can Johnny finally do the right thing and be a good father to Chloe or does he do what he is best known for? Somewhere is a dramatic story about how a daughter can inspire a father to do the right thing.

The Great Gatsby is the sixth adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel scheduled to release in December, 2012. As the previous movies, this one is loosely based on the book without any substantial deviations from the plot. And if you haven't even read the book you should be certainly ensured that this movie is definitely worth your time. Just one short look on the stellar cast will tell you lots about how seriously the movie's creators approached to the business. Leonardo DiCaprio plays the central person of the screenplay Jay Gatsby, a millionaire whose "shady" fortune made the penniless man rich in several years. A love drama is hidden underneath of his maniacal lust for roaring parties he regularly organizes in his mansion, which he appears to purchase just because his "love of the whole life" lives nearby this place. She is portrayed by Carey Mulligan, Daisy met Jay Gatsby when he was poor, and successfully forgotten him after he has gone to War. Soon she has married Tom Buchanan (played by Joel Edgerton) and become Daisy Buchanan. Her husband Tom, as it turned out, has a mistress: Myrtle Wilson (Isla Fisher) and their relationships are moving very precipitously. Nick Carraway (Tobey Maguire) is the person who observes the ups and downs of this twisted love triangle and finally becomes the lonesome witness of the mournful finale of the story.

When Jimmy, a 45 year old "roadie" who has been with the Blue Oyster Cult, an 80's hair band is cast off by the band, he returns to his home town and to see his mother. Jimmy has not seen his mother since he was back to attend his father's funeral. Now he hopes to live with his mother in the very house and neighborhood he grew up in. But much has changed while he's been away, especially the neighborhood (Forest Hills, Queens in New York) which is now considered somewhat of a slum. It's difficult and sometimes even impossible to go back home again and Jimmy finds his old stomping grounds have gone to seed while he was away for all those years when old buddies take him on a tour.immy testagross is played by Ron Eldard (House of Sand and Fog, ER), Bobby Cannavale (Paul Blart: Mall Cop, Fast Food Nation) is Bobby, Nikki Stevens is played by Jill Hennessey (Crossing Jordan, Wild Hogs), Jimmy's Mom is played by Lois Smith (True Blood, Desperate Housewives), and Don Miller is portrayed by David Margulies (The Sopranos, Canterbury's Law).

The previous movie of David Cronenberg, a biography thriller The Dangerous Method, presented David as perfect mastermind of psycho -packed dramas, and Cosmopolis should not disappoint us. This also applies to Robert Pattison, a brilliant actor, and a rising star of Hollywood, whose mission to play thoughtful young men in the next ten years is apparently predetermined. But, let's go back the movie itself. Set in the Manhattan and filmed during the one month only, Cosmopolis reveals the inner side of richmen's life of New York city. A 28 years old financial prodigy Eric Packer (Robert Pattison) heads up to his hairdresser in super luxury limo rolling down the Manhattan streets. He can hardly imagine how his next 24 hours will turn out in this cosmopolitical metropolis. He'll cheat his wife. He'll be on the edge of losing his wealth and life.
