The Goonies is a 1985 American adventure-comedy film directed by Richard Donner. It's not exactly Medea's-like comedy with Tyler Perry dressed as big and monstrous Afro-American woman, Peeples (2013) is more like Our Family Wedding filmed a year ago in 2012. It's funny, spontaneous, lively yet ironic. The action of Peeples revolves around the events at the reunion. A wealthy big family gathers in small town to enjoy each other company. The situation is heating up when Wade Walker, a young infamous "looser", decides to ask a hand of Peeples' lovely daughter Grace' at the pivotal point this rejoicing . This out of the blue surprise causes the effect of chain reaction, which ignites an extraordinary comic turmoil in Hamptons. Nevertheless, Wade Walker has to learn that there are different kinds of Peeples and even the "worst" of them could not be a serious obstacle for true love. Although, Peeples is a directorial debut of Tina Gordon Chism, who was previously known mostly as writer (ATL, Drumline), she managed to gather some brilliant cast: Kerry Washington (Olivia Pope from Scandal, Broomhilda von Schaft from Django Unchained) plays as Grace Peeples, while Craig Robinson (Hot Tub Time Machine, Eastbound & Down) plays as Wade Walker.

Ride Along is a 2014 American buddy cop action comedy film directed by Tim Story and written by Greg Coolidge, Jason Mantzoukas, Phil Hay, and Matt Manfredi. The film stars Ice Cube, Kevin Hart, John Leguizamo, Bryan Callen, Tika Sumpter, and Laurence Fishburne. It follows Ben Barber, a high school security guard, who goes on a ride-along with his fiancée's brother, James, a hot-tempered Atlanta Police Department detective, in order to prove himself worthy of marrying James's sister. However, the two men find themselves in the middle of a major case when they stumble upon a dangerous criminal activity.

A dream team within a one movie - Al Pacino, Christopher Walken and Alan Arkin -impress with the incredible chemistry between members of this trio. Stand Up Guys director Fisher Stevens climbed into the territory of crime-comedy thrillers about gangsters mocking gangsters. Nonetheless Stand Up Guys is not a spoof of Pulp-Fiction-like movies, it has its own tint, and there is the place for seriousness too. The story begins when Val (impersonated by Al Pacino, a well-known American author gained his fame by his memorable roles in The Devil's Advocate, Heat, Scent of a Woman, The Godfather, Scarface) is being released from "the big house" after serving 28-years sentence. His mate, Doc (played by Christopher Walken, previously starred in A Late Quartet, Seven Psychopaths, Balls of Fury and Man of the Year) is eager to meet him at the walls of the penitentiary. Doc has two reasons for cheery embraces for his old pal. Doc was given a task to kill Vic. The assignment was made by the local kingpin Claphands (played by Mark Margolis: Beneath, Noah, The Courier, Black Swan), who is dreaming about revenge for his son's accidental death accusing Vic for this. Nevertheless, Vic is aware about Doc assignment, and first thing buddies want do to is to visit the local cathouse ( it's a second reason), where the mess begins: alcohol, drugs and Viagra overdose ignites the chain of events buddies can't control.

Smokin' Aces is a 2006 action-comedy film directed by Joe Carnahan. The movie follows the story of Buddy "Aces" Israel, a Las Vegas performer who becomes a target of various hitmen after agreeing to testify against the mafia. The FBI must race against time to protect Buddy and bring him to safety.

The Back-Up Plan is not so much a romantic comedy at background of pregnancy as a comedy about pregnancy, burdened by violent romanticism of the early phase of love: you become stupid get fat and jump in panic skiping around a handsome prince on a white horse. An advantage of movie probably is something that is not here: not a single moment when the viewer a shame that it looks something like this. After the expected, but still funny finale you can get a kinder look at the world.
