In order to please his father Santa, young Arthur Christmas needs to personally deliver a gift to a very sad young girl who has nearly given up hope of ever having a Merry Christmas again. He gets help from Grandsanta (Santa's father) and Byrony, an employee from the Giftwrap Battalion who is a low ranking elf at the North Pole). They must make the delivery before Christmas morning after it missed the Christmas Eve deadline. Arthur has only an old sled to get him there and many roadblocks along the way, including those who go along to help.
