Unfortunately, fuboTV is available in the United States only, and you won’t be able to access it in Mexico. Also, our readers are complaining that most US VPN providers won’t help to watch fuboTV in Mexico.

How To Watch fuboTV in Mexico in 2024 (Complete Guide)

How To Watch fuboTV in Mexico in 2023 (Complete Guide)

After extensive testing, we have found that using a virtual private network (VPN) to access fuboTV from Mexico is no longer effective. We tried several different US VPNs, but none of them were able to bypass fuboTV's regional restrictions. Every time we tried to connect through a VPN, we received a message saying that "fuboTV is not available in your region."

However, when we tried using a residential US IP address instead of a VPN, we were able to access fuboTV in Mexico without any issues. This suggests that fuboTV is able to detect when a user is connecting through a VPN and blocks their access, but is unable to block access when a user is connecting through a residential IP address.

Based on our testing, it appears that the best way to access fuboTV in Mexico is to use a residential US IP address. This will allow you to watch fuboTV in Mexico without encountering any regional restrictions. Here is the list of what you will need to watch fuboTV in Mexico:

  1. Residential IP address in the United States
  2. fuboTV subscription
  3. fuboTV app (optional )

Step 1. Get yourself a residential US IP address to watch fuboTV in Mexico

While VPNs are commonly used to bypass regional restrictions and access content from other countries, we found that they were not effective in this case. When we tried to use a VPN to access fuboTV in Mexico, we were consistently met with a message saying that "fuboTV is not available in your region."

Obtaining a residential US IP address, on the other hand, proved to be a much more effective solution. Finding a provider of residential US IP addresses was not an easy task, but after several weeks of searching, we were able to locate a company that was able to provide us with a residential US IP address that worked with fuboTV in 100% of cases. This company offers a three-day free trial, so you can test out their residential US IP address before committing to a purchase. The cost of the service is relatively low, making it an affordable solution for accessing fuboTV in Mexico.

Once you have obtained a residential US IP address from this company, you will be assigned an IP address that belongs to one of the following ISPs that provide fiber internet connections for households in the United States: AT&T Fiber, Comcast Xfinity, Google Fiber, Verizon Fios, Frontier Communications, Spectrum, COX Communications, T-Mobile Home Internet, Wave,

Sonic.

When you use this IP address to access the fuboTV website, you should be able to access the service in Mexico without any warnings or errors. However, you will still need to sign up for a fuboTV subscription in order to access the content on the service.

Step 2. How to subscribe to fuboTV in Mexico

To subscribe to fuboTV in Mexico, you will need to follow these steps:

Go to the fuboTV website.

Click on the "Sign Up" button or the "Start Free Trial" button, depending on the subscription plan you want to choose.

Fill out the required information, including your name, email address, and payment information.

Choose a subscription plan that meets your needs and preferences. fuboTV offers several different plans, including a free trial, a basic plan with a limited selection of channels, and a premium plan with a wider selection of channels and additional features.

Review your subscription details and click on the "Sign Up" button to complete the process.

It is important to note that fuboTV may reject your local credit card issued by banks in Mexico. If you are unable to pay for fuboTV in Mexico with your local credit card, there is a solution also.

In this case, you may need to email fuboTV support with the last four digits of the credit card you have tried asking them to allow the transaction. Wait for a positive reply from them and try your local Mexica card again. It should work now,

Step 3. Download the app to watch fuboTV in Mexico!

If you try to download the fuboTV app from the Mexico Play Store or App Store, you will not be able to find the app because it is only available in the US markets. This is due to regional restrictions that are put in place by fuboTV and the app stores.

However, if you have obtained a residential US IP address, as mentioned in the previous steps, you can use it to temporarily change your local Play Store or App Store to the US markets. This will allow you to access the fuboTV app and download it to your device. Once you have downloaded the app, you can switch your local app store back to Mexico or keep it switched to the US, depending on your preferences.

Additionally, using a residential US IP address to access the US app markets may have other benefits beyond just being able to download the fuboTV app, as you may have access to a wider range of apps and content.

To sum up, there are two options for downloading the fuboTV app in Mexico:

Option 1. To switch your Mexico Play Store or App Store to the US one for downloading the fuboTV app

This option is a pretty simple one. You get the US IP address connected, then go to the Country/Region setting of your Play Store or App Store and select another country: the United States. Once done, the Play Store or App Store restarts. Search for the fuboTV app, download it, and install it. Create a fuboTV account and select a pricing plan that suits you. That it. There will be no need to enter your credit card details as fuboTV will use the payment methods stored in your Play Store or App Store account.

Option 2. To create a new US Play Store or App Store account and then switch between Mexico and the US accounts when needed

You will find this option helpful if you have some balance remaining on your Mexico Play Store or App Store account or some subscriptions you would like to keep with your Mexico account exclusively.  In this case, you have to follow these simple steps:

  1. Log out of your Mexico Play Store or App Store account
  2. Get your US IP address connected
  3. Create a new account, choose the United States when asked and enter some valid US ZIP code (90210, for instance)

Final Thoughts

We have figured out that the fuboTV app is currently not available for download from the Mexican Play Store or App Store. This is because the app is only available in the US market at this time. However, if you have already obtained a residential US IP address, you may be able to use it to temporarily change your local app store to the US market, which will allow you to download the fuboTV app. Once you have downloaded the app, you can switch your local app store back to the Mexican market if you prefer, or you may choose to keep it set to the US market. There are many benefits to keeping your app store set to the US market, as it will give you access to a wider range of apps and content. We hope this information is helpful to you.

Undoubtfully, cinematography has been my passion since a very young age. Even now, watching a new movie or series always prompts me to ask a lot of questions to the author. Thus, every little essay about a title is definitely not a spoiler, but rather an attempt to explore the idea.
