Official ESPN access in Australia
Last reviewed: September 28, 2026
The Australian Disney+ ESPN hub includes live ESPN and ESPN2 channels, additional live events, on-demand replays, studio programmes, and ESPN originals. Schedules, rights, and supported formats can change.
How to watch ESPN in Australia
- Subscribe to an Australian Disney+ plan or sign in to an existing account.
- Open the Disney+ app or DisneyPlus.com.
- Select the ESPN icon on the homepage.
- Browse by sport, league, team, or tournament, or search for a particular event.
- If a profile blocks live programming, review its parental-control settings. Junior Mode cannot access ESPN.
What is available
Disney lists live ESPN and ESPN2 channels, extra live events, replays, studio shows, and originals. Its published lineup includes sports such as the NBA, NBL, NFL, MLB, and NHL, but schedules and rights vary. Live sport contains advertising, and selected formats depend on the event and supported setup.
How this differs from ESPN+
The Australian ESPN hub is a local Disney+ offering and is not guaranteed to match the U.S. ESPN+ catalogue. Check the live and upcoming schedule for the event you want.
Review profile and device settings
ESPN is unavailable in Junior Mode. Some live or unrated programming may require a profile setting change. Device support and maximum resolution can differ by event and hardware.
Other licensed Australian providers
ESPN is also officially distributed in Australia through Foxtel, Kayo Sports, and Fetch TV. Compare each provider’s current channel access, event schedule, price, and terms.
Bottom line
ESPN+ itself is a U.S. service. In Australia, use the local ESPN hub inside Disney+ or another licensed Australian distributor, then verify the current event schedule before subscribing.
What’s a Rich Text element?
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
Static and dynamic content editing
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
How to customize formatting for each rich text
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
