Typically you find that a public access television program schedule is pretty cut and dried, with a short list of boring options to watch at mostly inconvenient times. But GVTV has proven to be the exception with their widely diverse listings and entertaining programs laid out with the viewer's convenience in mind. With the modern capability to stream programs on the home computer, the watchability vastly increases. Coverage of local, national, and world news is complete and up to the minute whenever possible and can be found on cable TV as well as satellite. The idea of public access television began around 1970 when the need was expressed for a means of mass media distribution for ordinary people who would also create their own programming. Most of the funding is gained through private grants, contributions, and some federal government funding which means they often operate on a shoestring budget and always appreciate donations of time and money from the local area and nationwide as well.

The House of Refuge TV channel provides an excellent program of quality inspirational viewing for a wide audience that circles the globe. With an intrepid line up of shows including Celebration of Gospel and Meet the Browns there is always something on this TV channel worth watching. Reruns of such fine programming as BET shows and the Grammy's will remain popular each year as they become available as well. A House of Refuge is exactly what it sounds like, a place for people to come and seek out refuge or a safe haven. The television equivalent is found at House of Refuge TV and that means secure, safe, and clean programs that are available to be viewed by any one, and any age. As religion tends to play such an important part in many peoples lives, they can rejoice in having a truly inspiring television channel such as House of Refuge TV is. And being communicated in the Spanish language only makes it better and more vital to the millions who watch it daily.

For Seminole County visitors, SGTV offers comprehensive information about local landmarks and attractions, and for everyone in the greater Seminole County area, including its major tourist attractions, SGTV offers comprehensive, detailed weather information. Other channels may frustrate or disappoint, but SGTV is a great little outpost in the vast wasteland.
