Rockville 11, or The Rockville Channel is a television channel city community dedicated to cover major events and current affairs of Rockville, Maryland. As the TV channel of one of the biggest cities of Montgomery County, it provides coverage of both local and county news to be broadcasted via the terrestrial station and Internet as Rockville 11 Live. While WUWF, the television station representing the University of West Florida, does get a small amount of funding from state and federal grant money, the bulk of its financing is derived through multi-million dollar funding and with contributions from the local listeners and through funds provided from the University of West Florida. The late Dr. Thomas K Perry help found WUWF in 1981 with the intention of it becoming a way to promote and influence local arts while offering the entertainment value of things such as the Pensacola Jazz Festival, Pensacola Cultural Center, Pensacola Museum of Art, and Great Gulf Coast Arts Festival. Several historic theaters and museums have been renovated through the funds gathered in support of them, making WUWF responsible for bringing in those funds in large amounts. Notable churches further provide the type of programming Christians prefer and they include the Latin American church from Argentina, Claudio Friedzon along with Guillermo Maldonado from Guatemala. Much of this programming comes from Latin America and is free to viewers who can receive the channel and on the internet via streaming video.

Coming to your home, directly and from its satellite transmission, is the popular network known as Almavision. An American Christian programming TV network that also has north and Central American affiliates features the best coverage on the Vision for the Souls (translated means Almavision). Juan Bruno Caamao founded Almavision and it began broadcasting in December of 2002 in Los Angeles, California. Almavision has a strong program line up which includes Good Morning Miami with host Claudia Pinzon, as well as talent shows and other shows relevant to the Christian world. It is the largest and most watched Christian television station in South Florida and its radio affiliate is also the most listened to in that part of the U.S. President of the Almavision Miami division is Pastor Daniel Caamao who is responsible for the wide variety of programming to be found on that popular network. Almavision television can be found around the globe in the Spanish language with interpretation available in many languages.

KGOV is the local television station of Kern County featuring diverse government-related programming: Animal control, Kern County, Waste Management, Board of City of Bakersfield, To your health, Animal Adoption, BOS Agenda, 2010 State, Youth Panel, Permanency, Commission, INSIDE KERN, City Council of the County and Army Newswatch.
