KAMU-TV is one of the oldest campus-style USA broadcasting TV stations started its programming in 1970. Now KAMU-TV performs as the part of the "Educational Broadcast Services" of Texas A&M University and airs using the transmitter located near the University Campus. The KAMU-TV's mission is to provide the environment for the students to announce, operate and produce live TV content within the Brazos Valley area mainly in training purposes. In 2004 KAMU-TV has begun HD broadcasting. Now it also operates internet TV channel KAMU-TV live.
