When a concept television program is narrated by the likes of Morgan Freeman and Brad Pitt you might think it's all about its entertainment value but you'd be wrong. The Design: e2, a documentary style eighteen part series seen on local PBS stations is all about green design and sustainable living concepts. Stretching from New York City down to rural Mexico, then on to incorporate many more countries, the program is just part of a bigger series that has proven successful by drawing huge numbers of viewers wanting to learn more about such topics as food, water, design, energy, people, places, and transportation methods that are good for the environment while keeping the costs down to be affordable for most of us. Blippi is a popular children's entertainer who creates educational videos on YouTube. Blippi's real name is Stevin John, and he started creating videos in 2014. He wears a distinctive outfit that includes a blue and orange beanie, a bow tie, suspenders, and bright blue glasses. He often visits places such as farms, zoos, and museums to show children how things work and what they can learn.

Disney Channel is definitely THE place to go for outstanding programming for children and the Wizards of Waverly Place has been a big winner in that category at the Emmy's. How do the children of Wizards themselves become empowered with the magical capabilities passed down by their parent? They earn them. Father Jerry (David DeLuise) is a former wizard himself and he tries to teach his three kids to never take their potential powers for granted. They need to learn to get on in life without use of the magical power they now have because it may not last. But of course kids being kids they love to play with what they have and the act of turning an ordinary orange into a cupcake or change the settings on a clock prove irresistible to them. However the "Wizards in training" ultimately must compete to see which one will carry on the family trade because only one can hold the powers and the others will simply become mortals. Selena Gomez (The Suite Life on Deck, Sonny With a Chance) stars as well as performs the title song "Everything is Not What it Seems".

When Chloe King turns sixteen she discovers she is descended from an ancient race, the Mai. She soon learns of her new found cat like powers which include super human speed, night vision, super hearing, agility, retractable claws, and that she now has nine lives just like a cat. Upon discovering that someone is following her, Chloe also learns she is the descendant of an ancient race called the Mai and just might be responsible for protecting her race from the human assassins which have been on the prowl for them during the past thousands of years. Skyler Samuels (Wizards of Waverly Place) is Chloe King, who had quite a sweet sixteen birthday present. Amy Pietz (Caroline in the City) plays her mother, Meredith King. A single mom, Skyler raised Chloe by herself although she is from the Ukraine and was brought to the U.S. by a man who adopted Chloe and may also know about her and the super powers she has gained. Now Chloe has a heavy responsibility if she is to save the world, including both humans and the Mai race.

This weekly teen comedy drama is run like a soap opera because it plays so often each week. Playing With Time, the production company that puts Degrassi on the air is owned and run by Linda Schuyler, a former school teacher who knows what kids like to see. This entertaining program as been around long enough now, and is in its (tenth season), so the audience interest has changed and moved down a generation. Now more comedy than ever is displayed in episodes that have at least two and usually three individual story lines or plots. The first one is the shows opener and usually also finishes that episode. A running plot that continues from one episode into the next is common, attempting to bring back viewers to see what will happen next. Music plays an important part of Degrassi: The Next Generation as it does in the real life of someone in those teenage years. Most episodes are actually named for particular songs, mostly from the 1980's.
