Working with the science, technology, and geniuses afforded by "The Jeffersonian Institution," the FBI solves mysteries wrapped in enigmas packaged in conundrums. Derived from Canadian anthropologist Kathy Reichs's popular series of novels, and loosely based on Reichs's own life and character, "Bones TV show" effectively makes it cool to be smart. The plots elevate forensic science to the status of dramatic art, answering the question, "What kind of story would you get if the love child of "˜House' and "˜CSI' hooked-up with a romantic comedy?" Viewers come for the crime drama and stay for the romance, because the romance makes "Bones" as delicious as it is dramatic. Dr. Temperance Brennas (Emily Deuschanel) and FBI Agent Seely Booth (David Boreanz), take their professional partnership very-very seriously, especially because it provides the ideal mask for much deeper feelings between them. The writers frequently stretch the romantic and sexual tension well past its tested limits and right to the brink of its breaking point. Naturally, viewers constantly hope Brennan and Booth will consummate their love; just as naturally, they understand it never can happen. No tension, no show. Meanwhile, America sleeps safer at night knowing that Brennan and Booth are on the case.

At the first glance FOX's The Mob Doctor's storyline looks much more goofy then its title. But it haven't prejudged so readily. Let's start with an ensemble cast: Jordana Spiro, who plays main protagonist "“ Dr. Grace Devlin, she appeared in Dexter as Beth Dorsey and she may be familiar to you by his role Petal in Trespass. She is a doctor, who have gotten into some serious troubles "“ in her efforts to help his brother to get out of his mob connections, she decides to pay of brother's debt to one of the most prominent mobsters of the city, Moretti. The debt should be paid of by healing or killing Moretti's wards. Erelong, she gets into a woe by herself when Moretti gives the first "murdering" order. The apparent deliverance is coming when another gangster, Constantine (played by William Forsythe: Infected, Boardwalk Empire) kills Moretti, and Dr. Grace passes to his hands with all of her "debts". Grace begins to execute the "medical" orders of her new boss barely managing to combine her new duties with the work in hospital. Shortly Grace realizes that she is more "mob" than "just" doctor.

When "The Good Wife" premiered in the fall of 2009, insiders whispered that Alicia Florrick, the good wife, was modeled after Silda Spitzer, the remarkably resilient former spouse of Elliott Spitzer, former New York prosecutor who ended-up himself prosecuted on charges of using public funds to support his prostitute habit. In the first few episodes, Alicia stood mute and shell-shocked as her politician husband admitted to "indiscretions," was tried and sent to jail. With only mild irony, the good wife emerges as the amazing woman as soon as hubby gets fitted for his orange jumpsuit. Played with tremendous grace, style, and power by Julianna Marguiles, Alicia Florrick, a la Silda Spitzer, returns to her old law practice. A little out of practice after thirteen years as wife and mother, she wobbles before she restores her professional standing. As "The Good Wife" evolved, it outgrew its need for "ripped from the headlines" comparisons. Episode by episode, Marguiles quickened, toughened, and deepend Alicia's character. Her imprisoned spouse becomes simply a footnote or sidebar as Alicia struggles to keep her family intact and build her career in a law firm riddled with scheming, scandal, and intrigue.

The TV show "Miss S" is set in the 1930s in the bustling city of Shanghai. The story revolves around Su Wenli, a wealthy and fashionable socialite who has returned home from Paris. Su Wenli teams up with Luo Qiuheng, a righteous and hesitant police inspector to investigate and solve murder cases.

When Captain Jack Harkness came from Doctor Who and the 51st century he was a happy man. But circumstances such as the deaths of friends, his grandson, and a lover, Ianto Jones made him realize that life is short, and precious! John Barrowman (Desperate Housewives, Tonight's The Night) plays Harkness who's character jumped from the Doctor Who series over to Torchwood, and is joined by a talented cast plus interesting guest stars each episode. Harkness loves Gwen Cooper (Eve Myles from These Foolish Things, Doctor Who) even though she still lives with and has feelings for her husband, Rhys Williams (Kai Owen from Being Human, A Chorus of Disapproval). C. Thomas Howell, Wayne Knight, and Ernie Hudson have each participated with guest appearances on Torchwood: Miracle Day. When Rex Matheson (Mekhi Phifer from ER and Lie To Me) joins up as a CIA operative the plot thickens and the challenges become huge. Someone who faces lethal injection just will not die, and the rest of the world lives on as well. Jack Harkness himself is considered immortal since leaving the Torchwood Institute. What is there about that place that makes men immortal?

"Show Me a Hero" is a six-part miniseries based on the non-fiction book of the same name by Lisa Belkin. The series was created by David Simon, who is best known for his work on "The Wire" and "Treme." It was produced by HBO and premiered in August 2015.
