House of Guinness is a lavish historical drama created and written by Steven Knight, the mind behind Peaky Blinders, for Netflix. Set in 1868, it opens in the aftermath of the death of Sir Benjamin Guinness, the patriarch who transformed the Dublin brewery into a global empire, and traces the fortunes of the four adult children left to inherit his complicated legacy.

Anthony Boyle and Louis Partridge lead as brothers Arthur and Edward Guinness, thrust into running the business together, while Emily Fairn and Fionn O'Shea play their siblings Anne and Benjamin. James Norton co-stars as the formidable fixer Sean Rafferty, and Jack Gleeson appears as Byron Hedges, as the family navigates rivalries, secrets, romance, and the political turbulence of Ireland on the brink of change. Knight frames the brewing dynasty as a saga of power and inheritance, drawing frequent comparisons to Succession and Downton Abbey.

Premiering in September 2025, the eight-episode series became one of Netflix's most talked-about period dramas, earning warm reviews for its sweep, style, and performances and a swift renewal for a second season. Rooted in the real history of one of Ireland's most famous families, it turns the story behind the black stout into rich, character-driven drama. It streams on Netflix.

Anyone who has ever been diagnosed with cancer knows there is little funny about the subject. And to be a young suburban housewife and a mother as well is, well let's say downright depressing to talk about such a burden. But Cathy Jamison manages to bring a lighter aspect to the Big C even as she deals with her immature husband. Laura Linney (Mystic River, Love Actually) plays Catherine Jamison who is a high school teacher diagnosed with melanoma. Not one to simply lie down and die Cathy infuses plenty of humor, sometimes dark humor, into her life and bolsters her family's outlook as well. Her husband Paul, played by Oliver Platt (Year One, Frost/Nixon) apparently has a child like vision of his life and approaches the situation with his wife as if it simply does not exist. Cathy also has a son and a brother with whom she tries to improve relationships with, not knowing if she will be around much longer. Humor is found in the rocky relationships between family and friends who handle her serious illness in different manners and the last thing Cathy needs is squabbling relatives when she has her own worries. It's all handled with a lightness that the writers find even in trying times.

The Defenders is an American courtroom drama series from CBS that showcases defense attorneys that specialize in legally complex cases. Termed as the most socially conscious TV series which is singularly constant with liberalism of the new frontier. Starring EG Marshall, Robert Reed, Polly Rowles and Joan Hackett. A must watch show for liberalists across the world.

"The Resident" is a popular American medical drama TV series. It premiered in 2018 and has been running for four seasons. The show follows the personal and professional lives of doctors and nurses working at the fictional Chastain Park Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.

Chase

Chase TV Show is another hit from executive producer Jerry Bruckheimer, but this is not your typical police drama. It is based in Houston, Texas and chronicles a U.S. Marshal team specializing in fugitive apprehension; who are on the chase for the country's most wanted criminals. Deputy Annie Frost (Kelli Giddish) leads the all star team including intelligence and weapons/tactical specialists as well as a true Texan cowboy. Follow this notorious team of five as they capture the really bad guys and overcome their own personal issues at the same time.
