"Atlanta" is a critically acclaimed American television series created by Donald Glover that premiered on FX in September 2016. It follows the life of Earnest "Earn" Marks, a college dropout who tries to manage his cousin Alfred's rap career while navigating the Atlanta music scene. The show tackles various themes such as poverty, race, family, and mental health.

At the first glance FOX's The Mob Doctor's storyline looks much more goofy then its title. But it haven't prejudged so readily. Let's start with an ensemble cast: Jordana Spiro, who plays main protagonist "“ Dr. Grace Devlin, she appeared in Dexter as Beth Dorsey and she may be familiar to you by his role Petal in Trespass. She is a doctor, who have gotten into some serious troubles "“ in her efforts to help his brother to get out of his mob connections, she decides to pay of brother's debt to one of the most prominent mobsters of the city, Moretti. The debt should be paid of by healing or killing Moretti's wards. Erelong, she gets into a woe by herself when Moretti gives the first "murdering" order. The apparent deliverance is coming when another gangster, Constantine (played by William Forsythe: Infected, Boardwalk Empire) kills Moretti, and Dr. Grace passes to his hands with all of her "debts". Grace begins to execute the "medical" orders of her new boss barely managing to combine her new duties with the work in hospital. Shortly Grace realizes that she is more "mob" than "just" doctor.

"Fleishman Is in Trouble" is an American drama streaming television miniseries based on the 2019 novel of the same name by Taffy Brodesser-Akner. The series premiered on FX on Hulu on November 17, 2022. The series follows the story of Toby Fleishman, a recently divorced man in his 40's who starts using dating apps for the first time, as he balances looking after his kids, a promotion at the hospital where he works, and all the women in Manhattan. However, as he begins to find successes he never found in his youth, his ex-wife Rachel disappears without a trace, leaving him with their kids. Toby begins to realize that he'll never be able to figure out what happened to his wife until he can be more honest about what happened to their marriage in the first place. The cast includes Jesse Eisenberg as Dr. Toby Fleishman, Lizzy Caplan as Libby, Claire Danes as Rachel, Maxim Jasper Swinton as Solly, Meara Mahoney Gross as Hannah, and Adam Brody as Seth. "Fleishman is in Trouble" is an American limited series based on the 2019 novel of the same name by Taffy Brodesser-Akner, announced on September 12, 2019 that ABC Signature had won a 10-studio bidding war for the rights to the novel Fleishman Is in Trouble, with the project being developed for FX. Taffy Brodesser-Akner, the author of the original novel, was attached to write the adaptation as well as executive produce the project alongside Susannah Grant, Carl Beverly, and Sarah Timberman. It was announced on March 11, 2021 that the project was given a limited series order consisting of nine episodes, and set to premiere exclusively on Hulu as part of FX on Hulu. Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris were attached to direct multiple episodes of the series. The series was released on November 17, 2022, with the first two episodes available immediately and the rest debuting on a weekly basis. The cast includes Lizzy Caplan, Jesse Eisenberg, Claire Danes, Adam Brody, Maxim Jasper Swinton, Meara Mahoney Gross, Joy Suprano, Michael Gaston, Ralph Adriel Johnson, Brian Miskell, Christian Slater and Josh Radnor. Principal photography began by February 2022, in New York City. "Fleishman is in Trouble" received generally favorable reviews from critics. Rotten Tomatoes reported an 83% approval rating with an average rating of 8.2/10, based on 36 critic reviews. The website's critics consensus reads that the series examines the characters' foibles with compelling insight, and they're brought to life by a terrific trio of stars. Metacritic, which uses a weighted average, assigned a score of 79 out of 100 based on 25 critics. Annie Berke of The A.V. Club gave the series an A− and said the characters are doing their best and the show is far better than most. Richard Roeper of Chicago Sun-Times gave the series 3 out of 4 stars and wrote that it is an exceedingly well-cast show, with Eisenberg, Danes, Caplan and Brody all playing to their strengths and hitting notes we've seen them master in previous roles.

Arguably the best medical drama in television history, House thrives on genius writing and equally brilliant acting. Set in a teaching hospital at Princeton University, the show builds its plots around complicated, complex, elusive, credulity-straining diseases and a team of diagnosticians willing to move heaven and earth to find their causes and treatments. Long-time House fans eventually demystify the show’s dramatic formula, which devotes the first third to diagnosis and discovery, the middle third to trial and which seem to lead to a cure, and then the climactic ending which undoes all the drama of the first two thirds, curing the disease by revealing The Truth. Hugh Laurie plays Dr. Gregory House to perfection, sustaining the tension and contradiction between House’s arrogance and his irresistible compulsion to save people from their illnesses and often from themselves. One Los Angeles television writer sums-up, “A vicodin-popping, wise-cracking, gimp-guy who walks with his cane on the wrong side while he demystifies illnesses so bizarre they almost defy imagining—what’s not to like?”

The Scribner authors who rose to 1930s and 1940s prominence under Max Perkins's skilled tutelage understood the best way to change the world is to represent it precisely--in minute detail and in all its grim, unforgiving, and frightening ugliness. MTV's "16 and Pregnant" brings the same principle to television, accurately and unblinkingly showing the lives of four expectant teen-agers, mercilessly exploiting every ugly stereotype of life on the perilous edge of poverty and powerlessness. The New York Times suggests, "The implicit message at the center of ["16 and Pregnant's] class prejudice tells us that if you're not setting out for Berkeley or Wesleyan, then raising a child when you ought to be working on the yearbook is as good a road to character development as any." The Times unfortunately mistakes power and poignancy for "prejudice." After viewing even one episode of "16 and Pregnant," any observant sophomore will make a headlong dash for Planned Parenthood, the glee club, and an SAT prep course.

Using state-of-the-art technology and amazing skill with make-up and costuming, Chance, the main character, becomes literally a human target. In each episode of "Human Target," Chance assumes the identity and everyday life of a prominent person in danger. Describing himself as an "extreme bodyguard," Chance uses his wits, skills, and wise-cracking bravado to turn serious danger into a trap for the villains. The sinister evil-doers plot kidnapping, blackmail, extortion, and especially death; the "human target" plots capture. Not the kind of thing for which an ordinary guy usually would volunteer. "Human Target" TV show was praised by the critics and audiences for the quality of the acting"”especially the performances by Earl Haley, Jr., which make a somewhat implausible premise absolutely believable and compelling. Because "Human Target," a decidedly out-of-the-box crime drama, is loosely based on the DC comic series of the same name, the creators have no shortage of bad guys, nor do they struggle to find quirky characters for Chance to impersonate. Critics and audiences agree that the actors playing the three main characters go a long way toward redeeming the show's average, sometimes genuinely awkward writing. They wonder, though, will the actors be able to hold the viewers' attention and loyalty long enough for the writing to fulfill the promise in the premise?
