Megamind may become part of the film-schools' curriculum, because it proves two principles of animated film artisanship: First, as Roger Ebert emphasizes in his review of "Megamind," animation is "incomparably more suited for 3D than live action is." Second, excellent actors bring their on-screen avatars to life, adding depth and the "It" quality to a story and characters that, without the talents behind them, would barely earn a B-minus. The great Truffula Forest is in danger of going the way of the great rain forests because of a greedy creature that calls himself a Once-ler. Seems that these magnificent trees can be used for making garments that the Once-ler declares are something "everyone needs" and he goes about making lots and lots of them. With the help of his entire family, who he calls in to help, the trees are cut down one after another. The Lorax is an interesting character that emerged from the stump of the first tree the Once-ler cut down and begs him to leave the trees alone. But greed spurs on the garment maker who only sees the forest and not the trees as individuals. factory and big business are what it's all about and the Truffula trees are being chopped down rapidly. Soon the Bar-ba-loots, who are forest inhabitants who see the Truffula trees as a source of food, are faced with a food shortage and suffering grave diseases. The Lorax sends them away to find some other source of food and begs the Once-ler to quit cutting down the Truffula trees. As told by the reader (a young boy) it's a message about greed and how it affects each of us in different ways.

A prehistoric man, Grug, and his ferocious family awake, when an earthquake strikes. All they have to do is to run out of their comfortable cave-apartments and accept their fate of "caveless" wanderers traveling uncharted and fantastical world. As they travel, a prehistoric genius meets them on their way. His name – Guy, and he tries to use his brain, not strength, in contrast as Grug does. This unusual, as per those times, behavior makes him derelict in eyes of contemporaries. Especially in the eyes of Crug, whose oldest daughter, Eep, seems to be fallen in love with Guy. This inappropriate order of things: a sudden earthquake, a crazy nerd, and unexpected maturing of the daughter makes Crug's world being ruining. However, the rest of his family is less worried of these events: Ugga, Grug's wife; Thunk, their fat but kind son; and Gran Grug's mother-in-law and his main enemy in this world. If you are not excited with the story, think about how The Croods was made. Produced by Kirk De Micco, Chris Sanders and voiced by Nicolas Cage, Ryan Reynolds and Emma Stone, the animated movie looks much better then How to Train Your Dragon, the one that has put The Croods on hold in 2010.

To save the Jellystone Park from the evil Mayor's plans friends decide to unite with their former arch-enemy Ranger Smith, who turns to their side after falling in love with Rachel (played by Anna Faris), nature documentary filmmaker sympathizing unenviable fate of animals inhabiting Jellystone Park. However, it is not an easy task to save the Park, and friends are set off in all serious with the some daring Plan. Their wild idea to kidnap a rare and dangerous Frog-Mouthed Turtle finds the support from another character Ranger Jones (played by TJ Miller). Together they make "impossible things - possible" and you laughing "all way long" on their incredible antics. Generally "Yogi Bear" is a great animated comedy to be watched and enjoyed by the whole family. Children will be filled with laughter watching inimitable tricks animated characters, and adults will find a lot of fun in the sometimes ambiguous situations which Ranger Smith and his newly formed passion Rachel, falls in. No doubt "Yogi Bear" is both an amazing cartoon and a sitcom all-in-one, which will please both adults and children alike. And there is another thing which is interesting to think about; as it was said by Yogi Bear movie director Erick Brevig "I have kids, and I remember the characters from when I was young. I really wanted this to be a movie that doesn't make parents feel like they've been marginalized by changing the characters, and trying to make them hip and different from who they are"…
