When Marnie Was There is a 2014 Japanese animated film produced by Studio Ghibli. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Joan G. The CG technology allows for more visual and expanded scenery plus adding that old wooden boat that could not possibly actually float in real time. But it's fun!oices include Hugh Grant as Pirate Captain, Cutlass Liza is voiced by Salma Hayek, Jeremy Piven is the voice of Black Bellamy, and as Queen Victoria we hear Imelda Staunton. All come together to create a family fun movie for the holidays!

The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water is a 2015 animated/live action film based on the popular Nickelodeon TV show SpongeBob SquarePants, and serves as a sequel to 2004's The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie. They find themselves separated, adrift, and now forced on a seafaring quest that makes them heroes as they are challenged as never before when discovering new worlds while battling some pretty ruthless pirates (are there any other kind?). Scrat the squirrel (Chris Wedge) finds reuniting with his nut takes him to some pretty prehistoric places not fit for a squirrel. As they explore the new world they find we, the viewing audience, follow along for a fun filled experience. It's good to have these loveable guys back once again!
