Would you mind speed-dating in the jungle on self-made rafts sailing down the crocodile-infested river? If you like these adrenaline-stuffed romantic adventures you will probably be hooked by Love in the Wild. However, to say the truth, you will have to sufficiently lower the acceptable level of stupidity, ridiculousness and affectedness. Otherwise you will be a little bit surprised by how this TV show was made. The anticipated symbiosis of The Amazing Race and The Bachelor Pad turned out to be just a bunch of meaningless quests on pseudo-romantic substrate. The only thing that saves this show is the fact that producers seem to be not taking the entire stuff too seriously. For instance, who will take seriously somebody whining about person whining about ants? As for series rules there are lots of advantages to form a loyal couple. Even if you are finishing last, there is a good chance to stay in the game in case if some partners in other couple will broke up and will not find any other contestant to partner with. In this situation they will end up in the Single Area from where they, most likely, will be eliminated. Such breaking ups are happening from time to time just because betrayal could be advantageous too: not because you are falling in love with somebody from the other couple, but on case if last-place couple member will accept a switch request in order to secure staying in the game. In opposite to the actions taking in the show, the rules are only intriguing elements in Love in the Wild. But do not forget the surrounding nature -it's beautiful and, furthermore, it's filmed magnificently. And maybe it's only the advantage saving this dating reality TV show for the next seasons.

HBO's ten-part mini-series, "The Pacific," retrieves the war against Japan from the threshold of obscurity. Based on survivors' accounts of the battles, and rendered as vividly as the small screen will allow, "The Pacific" tracks three Marines' odysseys from Guadalcanal through Cape Gloucester to Peleliu and ultimately to the epic battle for Iwo Jima. Testifying to "The Pacific's" intense realism, the mini-series collected Emmy Awards for Art Direction, visual and sound effects. More amply testifying to "The Pacific's" overwhelming genius and power, however, the Television Academy awarded it the 2010 Emmy for Outstanding Mini-Series.

S.W.A.T. is a TV series that premiered in 2017. It follows the story of a Los Angeles S.W.A.T. team led by Hondo, a skilled and experienced officer. The team is composed of diverse members with unique skills that allow them to handle the most dangerous missions.

"Trauma" survived almost a whole season in NBC's primetime line-up, but it ultimately became a victim of the Jay Leno scheduling brouhaha and its own penchant for taking itself much too seriously. The promotional materials for "Trauma" declared, "Executive producer Peter Berg delivers"¦the first high-octane medical drama series to live exclusively in the field where the real action is." The promo went on to describe "Trauma" as "an adrenaline shot to the heart," but viewers tended to characterize it as a sedative shot to higher consciousness, complaining that characters were stereotypic and plots were contrived. For all of its melodrama, "Trauma" did set valuable precedents for other, better-written medical dramas: The plots promoted paramedics and nurses over physicians as the true wonderworkers of emergency medicine, and the paramedic team included an openly gay character whom the writers treated with considerable insight and sensitivity. Held against TLC's "Life in the ER," "Trauma" betrayed its promise of realism, but it occasionally showed the promise of medical dramas focused on real caregivers instead of over-educated biochemists.

Starring stand up comedian Denis Leary, Rescue Me deals with real life trauma and the life of a fire fighter in the great city of New York. In a fictional fire house we follow along with the daily activities of the FDNY finest and bravest. Often their private lives call for more bravery than the job. Tommy Gavin (Denis Leary) has a dysfunctional family and after losing a close cousin on September 11, 2001 he has problems dealing with the fact that cousin keeps showing up in his dreams or visions. Tommy deals with his alcoholism, unsettling visions, and the stress that goes with being a fire fighter each week. We ride along on the fire trucks as he and his group of firemen go about the business of putting out fires, help injured civilians, and deal with some domestic issues. The recurring guest list is impressive including Gina Gershon, Susan Sarandon, Artie Lange, Maura Tierney, Jennifer Esposito, and Michael J. Fox. As you would expect, the firemen in New York City are kept quite busy and danger is a constant possibility. Denis Leary and Peter Tolan are co-creators of Rescue Me.

Playing "Trivial Pursuit," you will want to remember "Knight Rider" ran on NBC from 1982 through 1986. Reminscing, you may recall long, long ago, in a mostly forgotten era when David Hasselhoff was something more and greater than a punchline, he and a tricked-out Trans-Am had a Friday night crime fighting show. That, too, may be a punchline, but millions of people found the premise plausible, the man and his vehicle just hot enough that they tuned-in to watch hunk and hunk-of-metal defeat nefarious characters of all descriptions. Now that cars do regularly converse with and direct people, the articulate and cultured Trans-Am may not seem so far-fetched after all. Hitmaker Glen Larson produced "Knight Rider," working from a relatively simple backstory: Billionaire Wilton Knight rescues and rehabilitates police detective Michael Long after a near-fatal injury. Equipping the veteran crime fighter with a new face and identity, Knight makes newly re-Christened Michael Knight the first of his agents in the "public justice" initiative he sponsors. The gig come with Knight Industries newest product"”the artificially intelligent Pontiac. And the adventures along the law's margins begin.
